Requesting Disclosure Documents

Disclosure Documents are required in the sale of any home. Once your home is for sale, you must submit your request for Disclosure Documents in writing. To do so, please submit your written request to swhoa-admin@shakerwoodshoa.org. In that request, please include the following information:

  • Your full name and whether you are the homeowner or realtor making the request. If the request is made by the homeowner, please provide a name and contact number for the listing realtor.
  • The full address of the property
  • The date the property was listed on the market and whether or not a contract is pending on the home.

The request for Disclosure Documents must be made at least two weeks in advance. Any request with less than two weeks notice may not be successful.

The fee for the preparation of the materials is $100.00. The check should be written to HOA of Shaker Woods. When the materials are ready, we will contact you at the number provided in your written request.

Once your written request is received, an AECC inspection is done on the exterior of your home, ensuring that the property has no outstanding Architectural or Environmental violations.
